《悲惨世界》Les Misérables 电影分享会

《悲惨世界》（Les Misérables），是法国作家维克多·雨果于1862年所发表的一部长篇小说。 是十九世纪最著名的小说之一。小说涵盖了拿破仑战争和之后的十几年的时间。故事的主线围绕主 人公获释罪犯冉阿让（Jean Valjean）试图赎罪的历程，融进了法国的历史，建筑，政治，道德哲学，法律，正义，宗教信仰。

十九世纪的 巴黎，贫苦的冉· 阿让为了挨饿的孩子去偷面包，结果被饱食终日的法官判处19年的苦役。出狱后，走投无路的冉·阿让被好心的米里哀主教收留过夜，却偷走了主教的银 器潜逃，后被警察捉回。主教声称银器是送给他的，使冉·阿让免于被捕。主教的言行感化了冉·阿让，他化名马德兰，从此洗心革面奋发向上，十年后成为成功的 商人并当上市长。这时，以前缉拿过他的警长沙威出现，一心要找他的麻烦。在此期间，冉·阿让得知了妓女芳汀的悲惨遭遇，并承诺照顾她的私生女柯赛特。八年 过去了，平静的生活再起波澜——柯赛特爱上了共和派青年马利尤斯，轰轰烈烈的巴黎人民起义爆发了，无赖德纳迪埃和冉·阿让又狭路相逢，而多年来从未放弃追 捕冉·阿让的警长沙威又出现在冉·阿让的面前…… 《悲惨世界》是法国大文豪维克多·雨果的代表作。它自1862年问世以来，一直是影视工作者改编的热点。它曾19次被 拍摄成电影，４次被拍成电视剧。早在1912年，经雨果本人同意，它就由百代公司拍成４段式故事片，当时曾被史学家称作 “艺术电影最成功的作品”。美国曾４次把该小说改编成影片，甚至连埃及也拍过《悲惨世界》。1958年，第一部彩色故事片《悲惨世界》与观众见面，法国当 时的一些大明星都参加了演出。《悲惨世界》被认为是电影电视改编的“永恒的主题”。

《悲惨世界》是雨果的一部名作，绝对能将你感动得掉眼泪。

Spiritual Dimensions of the August Rush

August Rush Movie Review
1. Evan demonstrated the extraordinary faith in music and how it will lead him to his parents. His faithfulness brought about a few realizations including the ultimate success gained through trust in God's Will despite many obstacles along the way. His faithfulness also made him a mirror to those antagonistic roles, they see their true self when they see Evan, the layers of ego simply fade away in the face of true self.
2. He is also demonstrating the ability to show the changing nature of the form world and the suffering it caused for clinging to the changing reality rather than the eternal truth. Those whom faith are on forms for example the role of Lyla's father in clinging to his conditional love toward Lyla that binds her to regret for choosing her career over her love. This demonstrated the use of guilt in holding one to the control of the other where Thomas forcing Lyla to succumb to his will for the sacrifice he made for her. This seemed to be the ultimate form of control for every instances of manipulation. Similar clinging to form are also demonstrated by Wizard and Arthur.
3.  The journey of higher self discovery is completely demonstrated by Evan who only heard the music at the beginning but are able to play the music out loud toward the ending part of the show as a complete realization of his inner self in the physical form. His willingness to surrender to the inner knowing lead him to the ultimate realization of his dream to meet his parents.
4.   The surrendering to the inner voice also lead to the prodigal success of Evan in making a huge impression in his musical ability. He trust his inner knowing and simply follow the flow that lead him to doing the right thing at the right time.
5. His choice for love rather than fear is repeatedly demonstrated throughout the show vividly shown in his passion for the sound and how he is immersed in the invisible world and shines despite his timid character on other occasions. We also see the fearful choices made that led to disastrous consequences throughout. The movie clearly state "Choose LOVE and everything will be just fine!".
6. The movie repeatedly emphasized the silence and the evolving sound from it demonstrating the omnipresent form of the Presence higher than human in working out His plan. The inclusion of silence in between sounds render a beautiful picture on the soundscape of the movie.
7. You should really note the excellent facial and non verbal expression of Evan throughout the movie. A kind of reserved yet prominent existence. True power lies below the soft and weak outlook!


Truly a piece of work to be marveled.

Our screening movie is "August Rush" directed by Kirsten Sheridan, director of many spiritual movies. This is a story about a little boy, August who is blessed with special gift of music and appreciation of sound but was undergoing sad childhood due to problems faced by both parents. He finally found his way to reach his parents through music and to unite the two  through various impossible situations. This heart warming tale will surely touch you in its musical way. Enjoy great songs too!

《声梦奇缘》是一齣充满了音乐的电影，从音乐里探索真我及寻找共鸣的故事。
伊云(费迪夏摩亚饰)是一名音乐天才，可是他自小便在孤儿院渡过，他对音乐及声音充满了幻想和感动，把身边的风声、草声、鸟叫虫鸣都变成他心中乐章，他坚 信心中响起的音乐，是他与父母的连系；而终有一天，他会凭着音乐找到失散的父母；可是他有所不知的是，他的父母并不知道伊云活在世界上某个角落！

直至十一岁，被音乐的指引下，逃离了孤儿院来到纽约，在街上遇到了绰号叫巫师(罗宾威廉斯饰)的街头艺人，他收留了伊云，并发现他的音乐天份，将他改名为 奥吉斯路殊，对巫师来说，伊云的天才为他创造新的事业，而对伊云来说，音乐就是寻找父母的唯一途径；他的梦想是能在纽约中央公园四万多名观众面前，指挥纽 约爱乐演奏他创作的“奥吉斯C大调狂想曲”，而他的父母正是台下的拉娜及路易．．．

Have you ever found yourself at a brink and out of nowhere, something appears and put you safely through the most steep and dangerous situation you were in? Something comes to you that made you feel blessed and in the safe care of a higher being. Something that gives you the strength to carry on in tough time, to persevere and to leap higher into a brand new horizon. When we grow up, we no longer look into the invisible world as much. We stop trusting our instinct and intuition. We want to be practical and real. We want money and materials. Slowly, we lost the subtle connection we have with the inner part of us that yearn for expression and freedom. We choose richness with unhappiness. We choose relationship without feeling. We choose home without love.


Give yourself a chance to connect to your intuitive and feeling side, to your carefree and joyous self once again. Let the angelic kingdom comes into your life. Let the angels enter your domain. Let them bless your every endeavor with bliss and peace. Let them bring light and love.

Victor Lu's Background

Victor is the founder of Angelic Light Transmission (ALT) – Angelic Healing system and is a gifted intuitive channel, energy healer and spiritual teacher who work closely with the angelic realms.
